Copyright
Copyright is a form of protection provided to the creator/owner. If you take a photograph, or create a graphic image Photoshop, it’s yours, you own the copyright, automatically. You don’t need to apply for copyright. If the photograph/graphic was made by a third party, or taken as part of your job in employment, copyright is owned by the third party or your employer.
Copyright lasts until the death of the creator and other 70 years after he has died. Copyright holders may grant permission or license anyone else to use their work for a period time and there is exceptions like library privileges and examinations.
