Hardware and Software Limitations

Hardware

Digital camera –

Can loose images in the transfer process if USB cable broken or even may not print and display images anymore, just save them on computer. The batteries can run out of battery extremely quick. Lithium helps but is also expensive. A digital camera is a high quality camera with lots of pixels. Having more pixels on a camera means that the quality will be higher. These cameras cost a lot of money generally but are much better than something with a low amount of mega pixels.

Graphics tablet –

The graphics tablet is a very good piece of technology but the can be very expensive compeered to a mouse. They can be very difficult to control and would need practice for drawing artwork.

Flat screen Monitor –

Monitors have change a lot over the last 5 years because the brightness will not be the same after couple of years. The colour on the monitors is good but users will probably not notice the difference. You can change the monitor’s angle to suit yourself for example they move side to side and up and down.

Software

Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop can be very expensive and there are other programmes that are cheaper. It is a very difficult programme to learn because there is so much you can do. Photo shop takes up a lot in 

Adobe Photoshop is professional image editing software developed and manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc. Adobe PS is considered to be one of the leaders in photo editing software industry. This photo editing software allows the user to manipulate with digital photos and offers many features that user can pick from to make his image the way he wants it to be, it is only all dependent upon the users skill and knowledge of the actual software.  The rotate tool is used to rotate layers or parts of layers. The flip tools can flip a layer either horizontally or vertically. The crop tool is used to cut out parts of an image by reducing the dimensions of the image. The group tool is used to filter your work and make it organized when creating lots of different layers. The blur tool blurs the area you are "painting". The tool has a strength setting which is used to define how much blur you want.

Photo shop is one of the smartest programs I seen on a computer because there is so many fun and exciting tool to use.

Microsoft Paint

 Paint is a drawing tool you can use to create simple drawings. It is very good for creating and editing pictures for digital graphics. You can draw a shapes and mix colours in paint

These drawings can be either black-and-white or color, and can be saved as bitmap files. You can print your drawing, use it for your desktop background, or paste it into another document. You can even use Paint to view and edit scanned photos.

You can also use Paint to work with pictures, such as .jpg, .gif, or .bmp files.  

There is lots of key tools you can use for example here is a list is some tools you use for adobe and paint.

Tools

Freehand Drawing-

Free hand drawing is a very good tool. You use it to draw thing with your pointer on the screen and you move it with your mouse. It is hard to get used to for example if you have a steady hand is would be a lot easier than someone who doesn’t.

Brush tool can be used to write something or just too colour

 

Crop Tool -

The crop tool is one of my best tools because you can take a screen print whenever and then paste it into a word document, paint and Photoshop. After you do that the crop tool is very easy to use for example click the crop tool and then cut the bit of the picture you don’t want.

Rotate Tool -

The rotate tool is very handy and you van use it on any image. For example if you want a picture to sit at an angle all you have to do is find the rotate to and move the image to suit you . From the image menu bar Tools → transform Tools → Rotate
